1. Fireworks on the Lake
Mt. Arlington: Enjoy fireworks on the lake sponsored by Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club (75 Bertrand Road)! June 30th at 9:15pm. Be out on the lake for the best views and fuel up beforehand!

2. Picnic, Beer Garden, Music, & Fireworks
Florham Park: “The celebration begins at 9 a.m. with a flag-raising ceremony at Firehouse 1 on Brooklake Road. The parade begins at 9:30 a.m. rain or shine at Ridgedale Avenue and Brooklake Road. A picnic will be held on the Borough Hall lawn from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a social garden (beer garden) will be held from noon to 3 p.m. (Must be over 21 years old to enter.) There will be live music. At 8:15 p.m. entertainment preceding fireworks will start followed by fireworks at dusk.” – Daily Record
3. Freedom Festival & Carnival
Randolph: “The Randolph Freedom Festival will be held Thursday & Friday from 6 to 11 p.m. and Saturday, July 1st from 2 to 11 p.m. at County College of Morris at 214 Center Grove Road. The event features a fair with carnival rides, games, crafts, food and entertainment. Thursday is country night, Friday Rockin’ Randolph night, and Saturday is fireworks night with show taking place at 9:45 p.m.” – Daily Record
4. Historic-Themed Fun
Morristown: “At noon on July 4 at the Morristown Green, costumed National Park Service interpreters will read the Declaration of Independence. There will also be an audience sing-a-long, a musket salute and free historical walking tours of the Presbyterian Church’s sanctuary and Colonial-era graveyard.” – Daily Record
5. Parade, Music, & Fireworks
Chatham Borough: Start at Hillside Ave. & Main St. for the parade at 10:30, then be at Chatham Middle School for fireworks around dusk. Arrive an hour early for live music and ice cream trucks before the fireworks.
