In fact, according to the Home Price Expectation Survey (3rd quarter, 2015) which analyzed home equity price projections, potential family growth is expected to rise by $34,115 over the next four years from $250,000 in 2016 to $284,115 in 2020. Combined with low interest rates, buying now and investing in home equity could mean increased wealth over time for many buyers.
