Berkeley Heights is the 7th best place to live out of 641 places in New Jersey and #1 in Union County, a new ranking says.
The ranking and review website Niche gave Berkeley Heights an overall grade of A+ in its 2023 ranking, which placed it at #179 out of 17,916 “Best Places to Live in America.”
Niche creates the annual Best Places to Live rankings using data from sources such as the U.S. Census Bureau, FBI, Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, combined with “millions of resident reviews,” the search platform announced. The release on Monday is Niche’s ninth set of real estate rankings, the company said in a news release.
“Our Best Places to Live rankings have helped people find a new neighborhood to call home based on what matters most to them, whether that’s affordable housing, easy access to amenities or excellent local schools,” said Luke Skurman, CEO and founder of Niche. “We are proud to be a trusted resource for families, homebuyers, professionals and retirees alike in their research.”
